The goal of Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware’s Pharmacy Practice Residency Program is to train compassionate, clinically superior pharmacists who are prepared for hospital practice or further specialization. Graduates of this program will be able to easily transition to a PGY2 pediatric specialty residency or obtain a hospital position as a point-of-care pediatric pharmacist. Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware is a 250-bed free standing teaching hospital that offers a level of care and comfort that sets the standard for children’s health care. The hospital’s Department of Pharmacy supports intensive and acute inpatient and outpatient services in more than 30 disciplines, including a wide range of the country’s leading specialty care programs, ECMO/ CRRT services, a level 1 pediatric trauma center, and a level IV surgical NICU.
